I’m working on an application that allows fullscreen liveview on Android for the Panasonic GH3 / GH4. I’m also looking at tackling livestreaming next, a feature the cameras should really have in my opinion. New Samyang MFT lenses in Stock at BH.

With the sole exception of the new 10mm lens all other new Samyang lenses are in Stock for the first time via BHphoto:

I still haven’t found any review of that lens on a MFT camera…

(FT1) The OMD Full Frame E-mount camera.

Well, sometimes I really get “impossible” rumors. I am 99% sure these specs are fake but it’s good to see your reaction on that camera anyway. The anonymous source who sent me this said Olympus will present a Full Frame E-mount OMD at Photokina in September. These would be the specs:

– 32 Megapixel Full Frame sensor (Sony made sensor)
– ISO 50-102,400
– 3 fps
– dual core newly developed Olympus processor
– No on sensor stabilization (!)
– USB 3.0

I repeat it. Don’t believe this is ever going to happen although it would be “possible” for Olympus to make a camera like that. The only thing that would disappoint me on that camera is not having the on sensor stabilization :(

As I told you recently there will be no new GF camera this year and Panasonic main focus will be on the GM line. And I suspect the Gm line will never be as cheap as the GF cameras and that’s why it could be a good idea to grab one of the highly discounted GF cameras you can find right now. Full GH4 review by TheCameraStore TV (with Gh4 production camera).

The CameraStoreTV team testes a production GH4 and posted that final impression video. Definitely worth to watch! And CameraLabs also posted plenty of video and image samples.

Editor’s note: Some people did complain that I talk to much about the GH4 lately. Well guys, this is the only new MFT cameras we got the last 6 months and the only new camera to come is the E-Pl7 (with same E-M10 specs). So there is really not a lot to talk about on the Olympus side. And the GH4 is really a unique camera it’s really interesting (at leats for me) to talk about. But this will change soon guys, within the next couple of weeks I will start with the Photokina rumor work. And there will be some surprises :)
