Triple Olympus 25mm f/1.8 lens review.

Lenstip writes:

The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 25 mm f/1.8 complements their offer nicely, being a very interesting alternative to both the Panasonic 1.7/20 and the more expensive Leica 1.4/25.

Camerastuffreview writes:

Already at full opening, the sharpness is high from the corner to corner. You don’t often find that with bright lenses. On the Olympus website, the Olympus 25 mm f/1.8 is praised as an indispensable lens. For photographers with a preference for an affordable, compact, light and qualitatively high standard lens, Olympus is right. The only disadvantage that I can think of was that the lens is not extra well sealed against dust and splash water

A few thoughts about the Olympus 25/1.8 by Duncan Martin.

Time will tell if the Olympus 25 has any negative aspects which bite me in the backside, but so far I’m feeling positive.

You have 24 hours time to grab the Black Panasonic GX7 with lot of free extras for $621 on [shoplink 46196 ebay]eBay (Click here)[/shoplink]. That’s over $300 less than the price you pay now at Amazon or BHphoto.

Lats week I told you Panasonic is “re-engineering” the GX line. This also means a successor is certainly not coming yet. So it might be a smart move to grab the current GX7 today if you like the camera.

(FT4) Panasonic 150mm f/2.8 to be sold end of 2014.

Two sources confirmed the Panasonic 150mm f/2.8 lens will be releases at Photokina in September. And a new source actually told me a small bit on the lens: There was a slight problem with the production of the lens that Panasonic had to solve. That’s why it’s coming a bit later than expected.

Here is the picture of the prototype lens:

New Android application for the Panasonic GH3 / GH4 by Raymond Bakker

Work in progress fullscreen #liveview Android application for the Panasonic #GH3 / #GH4.

Raymond Bakker contacted me to share a cool news:

I’m working on an application that allows fullscreen liveview on Android for the Panasonic GH3 / GH4. I’m also looking at tackling livestreaming next, a feature the cameras should really have in my opinion. Check out the photo of the work in progress application. https://twitter.com/Raymond_Bakker/status/465600777470640128. Maybe you can feature it as I am sure many are waiting on these functionalities.

Good Work Raymond!
