43rumros Steve sent me that picture from the Photo Festa 2014. You see the Olympus 300mm f/4.0 size compared to the [shoplink 48604 ebay]Canon (here on eBay)[/shoplink] and [shoplink 48605 ebay]Nikon (here on eBay)[/shoplink] lenses. That’s the price and size you pay for Full Frame lenses :)

And also DC.watch posted some pics of the event. So here they are:

UPDATE: I corrected the ebay links ot the Canon and Nikon 600mm (and not 300mm) lenses.

New review of the Tamron 14-150mm MFT lens!

1000-Tamron-14-150mm-Di-III-Micro-Four-Thirds-4_1406897620

ePhotozine posted the full results of the Tamron 14-150mm MFT lens review. And the conclusion is pretty good:

If you own an Olympus Micro Four Thirds camera, which includes sensor-shift image stabilisation, then there isn’t a better value superzoom available for your camera. This is especially true as this lens delivers decent sharpness, despite it’s 10.7x zoom range.

Tamron 14-150mm f/3.5-5.8 Di III Pros

Good sharpness for a superzoom lens
Versatile 10.7x zoom range
Quick autofocus
Good build quality
Compact and lightweight

Tamron 14-150mm f/3.5-5.8 Di III Cons

Dark corners at 14mm (when shooting raw)
An optically stabilised version will tempt more owners of Panasonic Micro Four Thirds cameras

The new Tamron MFT zoom is already in Stock at BHphoto in Black (Click here) and Silver (Click here).

Tom:I hope it is ok to use this form to send you a link to a video I made about micro jitter in the 35-100. This seems to be a very common issue that can likely be fixed with a firmware fix, if Panasonic bothers to do so. Reports about similar issues are on the 14-140, and previously on 12-35 f.28 until Panasonic did issue a fix for that: https://vimeo.com/106895202
