It’s months now that we get rumors about a digital version of the [shoplink 35471 ebay]Olympus Trip 35 fixed lens camera (here on eBay)[/shoplink]. And we just got new tidbits from our source named “Simon”. He claims to know that indeed Olympus will launch such a camera: “good news they will bring a camera like the [shoplink 51754 ebay]Ricoh GR V[/shoplink]“.
The [shoplink 51754 ebay]Ricoh GR[/shoplink] is the most compact APS-C fixed lens camera yet and has a prime lens. If Olympus will manage to make it even more compact it could become a really nice cam!
I have no reliable info about the release date of the camera but I think we will not have to wait too much…

Some months ago JVC announced their first 4K budget Micro Four Thirds camcorder. You cna get it at BHphoto (Click here). And the camera just got reviewed by Newsshooter (Click here). they write:
Sure you could buy a GH4, a7S, BMCC 4K for less money but none of those cameras give you all the features that the JVC offers. The image quality coming out of the camera is very nice considering its price and who the camera is aimed at. The ability to choose a multitude of different recording options and be able to record them all internally is very impressive. The camera really is a good option for VJ’s, run and gun news and documentary makers and those who want to stay light but still want that Super 35mm look.
Reminder: Both the new Silver and Black E-M5II are now in Stock and shipping at GetOlympus (Click here). This is the first time the E-M5II is in Stock!
