Karsten:We produced the following trailer with the new setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybH0ehdIoBE
It´s a fantastic way of working! I waited nearly two years for the AG-AF100 successor, but now I doubt if I will get any advantages by using the rumored newcomer. By the way, here are the settings of the cam while shooting the trailer: 4K, 24p, Cinema D, Luminance 0-255, Black Level 0. Lenses: Nokton 17.5 f0.95, Nokton 25 f0.95, Rokkor 58 f1.2 with Speedbooster, all at a time combined with Heliopan Vario-ND. Sound: Beachtek Preamp, on board recording, Micro Sennheiser MKE 600. Grading with FilmConvert

Joe:Here’s a collection of winter shots taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M5 from February and the stories behind them – http://www.lessgearmorephotos.com/favorite-photos-february-2015/

Heather:I have a couple of new posts to share with you:
The first is a guest post written by Dallas Dahms. He organises African safaris and uses the E-M1 for all his work. http://www.mirrorlessons.com/2015/03/02/perfectly-mirrorless-african-safari-guest-post-dallas-dahms/
The second I can’t remember if I already sent it to you or not. It is a comparison between the LX100 and X100T. http://www.mirrorlessons.com/2015/02/20/panasonic-lx100-vs-fujifilm-x100t-compact-stylish-great-performance-ask/

The German text says:
Vom Fachmann wurde in einem One-Off-Auftrag passgenau ein Micro Four Thirds-Bajonett angesetzt. Damit ist das Objektiv direkt an jeder MFT-Kamera einsetzbar (shortly translated: An expert person modified the mount to make it native MFT).

This is now officially the fastest native Micro Four Thirds mount lens you can buy!

ePhotozine (Click here) writes:

The O-MD E-M5 Mark II is, without doubt, a worthy successor to the E-M5, and surpasses all of my expectations, providing excellent image quality in a well-built and stylish compact system camera. All that’s left is for me is to pull my bank card out of my wallet so I can buy it, once I’ve decided whether to go for the black or the silver version! Something that hasn’t happened since the original E-M5, some three years ago…

Engadget (Click here) writes:

Olympus has made it clear that the E-M5 Mark II isn’t meant to replace its flagship E-M1 camera, but rather act as an entryway to its Micro Four Thirds platform. With that reasoning in mind, I have no doubt the E-M5 Mark II is worth buying; I’m just not sure why anyone wouldn’t spend the extra $300 for the even better overall package that is the E-M1.

ThePhoBlographer (Click here) writes:

The Olympus OMD EM5 Mk II is a wonderful camera. It deserves all the praises and wonderful awards that you can possibly give it. Wifi, great image quality, a high resolution image mode to add to the future proofing, crazy fast AF, great lenses, a nice feel, weather sealing, focus peaking that works well, what more could a photographer seriously ask for?
