Vit: “A simple promotion video for a remastered song. Was shot on single gh4 + Sigma 18-35 1.8 CinelikeD. It was rather unprepared no-budget shooting in photo studio that took around 2 hours. The biggest issue was to sync video and master audio – the band got problems to hear the phonogram so their tempo was different from the master audio. Had to do multiple shifts and edits to make everything look acceptable. But despite all efforts in finding shots without mistakes in performance and careful grading the video was not appreciated. The reason was ‘The wooden floor looks bad in the shot and the window is ugly’. Digicameinfo confirmed the new Leica 100-400mm MFT lens will be announced on January 5th. So these are all the products Panasonic will launch on the same day:

– DMC-TZ100 (colors black and silver)
– DMC-TZ80 (colors black and silver)
– LEICA DG VARIO-ELMAR 100-400mm F4-6.3
– HC-VXF990 (camcorder)
– HC-VX980 (camcorder)

And on January 6 Olympus will launch the new 300mm f/4.0 PRO lens!

A couple of days ago I told you that Olympus will announce the new 300mm f/4.0 on January 6 at 6am London time. I keep receiving first hands-on impressions from sources. In summary what they say is:

– Image Quality is truly impressive. Worth every penny you pay for it
– Image stabilization is also the best they ever experienced on such a lens.
– The Build Quality is also very very very high

Digicameinfo leaked the first pictures of the Panasonic DMC-TZ100. The camera will be announced on January 5 at the CES show next week. The known specs so far are:

– 20.1MP 1 inch sensor
– 25-250mm f/2.8-5.9 lens

Annie Barton tested the [shoplink 56800 ebay]Kinoptik 150mm f/2.9 lens (here on eBay)[/shoplink] on the Panasonic GH4:

We think this copy we have could be a faulty lens, or a fake Kinoptik. It eats up quite a bit of light, so it flares a lot making the image less sharp. Maybe a longer lens hood might help?
Stay tuned for the upcoming Kinoptik 100mm. We like the 100mm much better than this 150 !!
This Kinoptik Focale is modified into a Nikon mount. The focusing barrel makes the lens fairly huge. The 150mm in Micro Four Thirds system makes the focal length even longer, and together with its size, this lens is not easy to use.
