A source told me the E-M1 Mark II will be announced on the 19th of September. I am awaiting confirmations from my trusted long time sources to eventually make this rumors “FT5” :)

It has no global shutter. But Olympus worked hard to reduce rolling shutter to a negligible level

Well folks, you didn’t see that coming I guess. Trusted sources told us Panasonic will announce a new entry level MFT camera by end of August. So don’t expect the GH5 to be announced yet! Sources said that the new entry level camera is certainly super nice, but they don’t know if the GH5 will still be announced right before Photokina…

I posted about that scenario many months ago: Olympus the E-M1II camera with two different sensors: One with the Sony 20MP sensor and one with an Olympus designed sensor produced by Sony. And now taratataaa! fingers crossed that the following rumor is true:

Just now I got two different hints from two sources that Olympus opted to launch the E-M1II with their own designed sensor! I am now working to confirm this rumor via trusted sources. I hope they are reading this and they will confirm or deny that rumor soon!
