(FT3) Few more E-M1II info (3D sound, articulating screen, 20% better image quality)

E-M1II

I got two more info from anonymous sources about the new E-M1II:

Source 1:

Same E-M5II articulating display, 48 MP high res mode without tripod. IMproved Ergonomie. Pictbridge VIII. Overall 20 % better image quality than the E-M1.

Source 2 (Simon):

New sensor, hiRes without tripod !!!!, this is great– so no need for FF Kamera), scratchresitance Screen, Videomodus (4K ) and an new mic solution (3d sound).

These are from new sources so I cannot yet confirm if the info here is correct. The current info from trusted sources is that the E-M1II specs are:

4K video (first Olympus camera with 4K)
Dual SD card slot
Handheld High Resolution mode
Much improved autofocus performance
new high-resolution EVF
Announcement at Photokina in September
It has no global shutter. But Olympus worked hard to reduce rolling shutter to a negligible level

Gonzalo:Last July I went back to my hometown in the Central Pyrenees (Northern Spain) after having just purchased the new Lumix GX80, and I took the opportunity to visit (and capture) the ruins and remains of some towns that used to populate those mountains and that nowadays have fallen into abandonment and oblivion. A sad but beautiful trip to the land (and traditions) of my ancestors and a nice way to test the capabilities of this little camera:
