Scott: “Got to hold an E-M1 ll yesterday at a public presentation. No card allowed, so no files to send, and couldn’t guess quality by looking at the screen. ++Of interest to wedding/event/wildlife photographers: Definitely possible to shoot silent at up to 6400 ISO, probably faster but did not test.++ No way to test scientifically, but C focus with 25 1.2 was really good. This was iffy in M-1 in anything except bright light. Spot metering does follow the focus point, an big win. Also focus points seem smaller, which would indicate a smaller spot meter. Of interest to macro shooters, specs on OLY website say silent shutter goes down to 60 seconds, so no longer necessary to keep raising ISO when image stacking in low light. One person who had seen 6400 ISO files on the back of a camera said they looked “great, way better than M-1”. ??? Hard to say.“

Alexander: “I had a travel in my home country – Georgia. Was preparing my photo tours for next year. With my main equipment I had a Olympus E-PL7, 14-42mm and 40-150 f4-5.6 lenses. Just to get to know Micro 4/3. Because when Olympus M1 mark 2 will be shipping I will switch to Micro 4/3 from a dSLR. And I totally in love now with that camera and Olympus brand. This camera as a tool gives me more possibilities in my work. And here is pictures I got with that little camera: Here is themed ones, called Svanetian Fog. Svaneti is a region in Georgia. These themed pictures will be in a separate room in my next exhibitions. http://www.alexlightphoto.com/Svanetian-Fog-on-Olympus/n-nGJb8h And here is just mixed (landscapes and street photography) works I have done with this camera since I have it.
