Robin Wong (click here) tested the new Olympus 300mm lens and writes:
Using the M.Zuiko 300mm F4 PRO lens was quite an eye-opening experience as the thrill and awe I went through reviewing the image quality produced by this lens. There is not much to write about what I dislike. Here is the sharpest lens Olympus has ever manufactured, and adding to that the introduction of even more powerful version of the already incredible 5-Axis IS system. This may not be the lens for every one (certainly not me), but if you do find a need for a 300mm lens in your type of photography, I think the 300mm is the answer to your prayers.
Marc came up with a new project for those of you that absolutely want to have that Barry Lyndon super speed look:
We’re a small fine mechanics company from Germany and have worked on these two ultra high speed lenses for the last year or so. The result is one full frame Leica M mount lens, perfect for mirrorless cameras of any system, and one dedicated lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras.
Both are now ready and so we’ve started a kickstarter campaign to make them available.
I’m sure your readers are curious to find out more or even get one for themselves.

Yesterday a source teased me with a message. He wrote that Olympus has something “BIG” coming “soon” after the PEN-F. He actually wrote:
“Next big thing will be sooner than you think”
As the source used the anonymous message box the only way to send him questions is by writing a post: I may ask you (the source) if you mean the E-M1II is coming soon? And do you know something about the Full Frame Olympus?
Thanks a lot :)
After the 28mm FF f/2.0 patent Egami spotted another new Olympus Full Frame lens patent describing three new lenses:
The patent shows detailed optical performance graphs. All three lenses have huge distortion and chromatic aberrations. But Olympus probably did choose to have them corrected in camera anyway.
Such kind of patent opens many questions: Is Olympus going to launch a new system at photokina? Will Panasonic also be on board of it?
