If you wonder what’s on Olympus roadmap this year well I can share one rumor I got via my trusted sources: There will be definitely a new E-M10 mark III. If it’s a sort of more compact and mini E-M1II I am sure it will be a very nice camera!

Maybe you remember my Focus Bracket App for Lumix cameras. Now I’ve written a Field Monitor app for IOS available on App Store.

It is the first Field Monitor app for the GH5 – but will run on many other Wifi capable Lumix cameras as well (like GH4, GX80 etc.). For less than 3€ you get a large Field Monitor – compared to hundreds of Euro for an external one.

If Peaking and/or Zebra are activated on the camera you can see them on the iPad or iPhone as well.

Sony announced the world’s first STARVIS Four Thirds sensor!

Sony announced the world’s first BSI “Micro Four Thirds” STARVIS sensor. The 8 Megapixel sensor is made for industrial and surveillance Four Thirds cameras. But I guess the same tech will be soon used on High Resolution versions too. Full info about the STARVIS key features can be found at sony-semicon.co.jp.
