A friend of mine gave me a self designed double lens cap for Micro-Four-Thirds, which I’ve testet for some weeks now. It is really cool, and now he recently started to sell it via Shapeways. Maybe that’s interesting for your readers? He has also designed some other stuff, like very compact lens hoods for some Olympus lenses. Just take a look: https://www.shapeways.com/shops/onzesi
The new Olympus E-M10 mark III will definitely have 4K recording. The announcement date is yet unknown but we expect the cmaera to be announced within 1-2 months! If the E-M10III will keep most of the E-M1II features it surely will become a hotseller!

Holger: “Here is a short video from our fairground. Handheld with Lumix GH5, Leica DG 12-60 and 100-400, original file in 4k59,94p. https://vimeo.com/214222562”
Marc: “Something crazy happened to me this week: the tables were turned on me — I was interviewed by NPR. Having done over a thousand hours of interviews with some of the biggest names in photography, I found it refreshing to be on the other end of the microphone, answering questions instead of asking them. Video link: https://youtu.be/V50jwCoEDPY The interview started right out the gate with a tough question: “What makes a picture?” We covered a lot of ground including the use of angles, why people are passionate about photography, anticipating the action, use of geometry and loads more, all while discussing examples of my work and telling the stories behind them.“

One of the most confusing choices in the Panasonic GH5 is which video format do you pick? Your options are 10-bit 4:2:2, 8-bit 4:2:0 and Prores or DNxHD via an external recorder. Previously, I had made a video explaining why 10-bit 150 Mbps was a bad idea, so you might want to watch that first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sds_D…
The two tests are HDR test, with highlights near clipping and shadows all the way down. I’m shooting V-Log for best dynamic range. Chroma keying test, my favorite. Waving a colorful duster against a poorly lit green screen. Enjoy!
And he also posted a second video with the full GH5 review:
