Plenty of news on the facebook E-M1II group and the GH5 group.

Gianluca: “I published a video that tests some of the main GH5 video capabilities (Slow motion, Focus transition, ETC, Dual I.S.2) while displaying Exif data in real time. One thing I noticed watching the Exif data is that every time 180fps slow motion is used the stabilization field shows Dual I.S. instead of Dual I.S.2. Has anyone else noticed? https://vimeo.com/pixemotions/gh5test

Fake or Real? This image claims to show the new GH5 firmware 2.0 features

Share

We know Panasonic promised us a major firmware update for this Summer. But so far I got no possible info about an imminent release. All I got is the following info that is not coming via our trusted sources:

Arno from the GH5 facebook group posted this image of a supposed GH5 firmware 2.0 features list. According to that document the firmware should be released on August 30. I hope trusted sources reading this post will tell me if it’s real or fake:

Scott Bourne’s Bird Photography Gear Guide for Micro Four Thirds Shooters

Share

Scott Bourne posted the full Bird Photography Gear Guide for Micro Four Thirds Shooters:

I am thrilled with the results I get from this gear and very thankful to the engineers who created the Micro Four Thirds format. Without it, my shooting career might be over. Thankfully, I don’t feel like I’ve had to compromise at all to make this switch and in fact, feel like I’ve gotten better images as a result. If you are interested in this gear don’t worry, it’s more than capable if you are.
