New 3D printed adapter for M.Zuiko 7-14mm / NiSi V5 Pro holder

Share
Enzojz contacted me to share his new 3D design:
This year I have designed a new adapter for NiSi V5 Pro, and the result is very exciting, since I have archive the best result that I have ever get on a 100mm system.
With this adapter, it’s possible to get rid of any vignette on rotated position, even with 3 filter installed, compared to my adapter for Lee, the maximal filter can be installed without getting vignette is 2. Compared to other similar adapter on the market, which can only work with 2 filters with very limited rotation without getting vignette, it’s a big step forward.
The adapter is available on Shapeway for order under this link: http://shpws.me/Pj4F, there is a video in that page showing the result we can with this adapter. The price for the package is 55$, the same level with other “Zu Adapters”.

The new 16mm f/1.4 Sigma lens tested at Lenstip

Share

The new 16mm Sigma lens is now shipping in EU and USA at Wex UK, Amazon Germany, BHphoto, Amazon and Adorama.

Lenstip tested the new Sigma lens and writes:

“The Sigma C 16 mm f/1.4 DC DN is not a flawless device; especially in the area close to f/1.4 you can find several distinct shortcomings. Still you have to remember that those shortcomings disappear on slight stopping down of the aperture and image quality improves very quickly too. As a result this lens’s resolution levels are close to record values on both types of sensors and we mean here records achieved by lenses several times more expensive than the tested one.”
