This is some additional info I got from sources about the new GH5:

• GH5 has on sensor stabilization.
• 2 SD slots for the GH5.
• No more limit about the duration of recording. 29 minutes in Europe.
• The audio XLR microphone hotshoe mounted I/O interface will be compatible with the DMC-GH4.
• The main sizes are identical of the GH4. Advantage : You can use ANY same accessory like Cage, Etc. from your previous GH3 or GH4.

The Olympus Stylus 1s got marked as “no longer available” at BHphoto. And I am not sure there will be ever a successor of that camera again.

I got a bit more detailed info on the procing of the GH5:

Body only: Price will be between 1 800 € and 2 000 € in Europe for the DMC-GH5.
Price will be ± 2 900 € for the DMC-GH5 + the new Panasonic Leica 12-60 Lens (not the older 12-60mm lens!)

Last week we reported about the G80 Image Stabilziation issue. Panasonic quickly responded that they are working to solve the malfunction. The good news is that it didn’t take long for them to fix the issue. CameraJabber reports:

I contacted Panasonic UK’s PR team about the matter and was advised that a firmware update will be issued at on the company’s global website (www.panasonic.com) at 6am GMT tomorrow.

Trusted sources confirmed the new Panasonic GH5 will have almost exactly the same price tag as the E-M1II. In Europe it will be within 1800 € and 2000 €. I hope to get detailed GH5 specs soon. Stay tuned and join the GH5 facebook group for more news!
