Panasonic says the GH6 sensor “is not made by the manufacturer everyone thinks we use”

PetaPixel reviewed the GH6 and they concluded that this is “One of the Best Hybrid Cameras You Can Buy“.
There is also a curiosity: Panasonic told PetaPixel that the sensor is “not made by the company everyone always assumes we use”. Which means this sensor isn’t made by Sony. I wonder why Panasonic doens’t mention the company making the sensor for them…would be interesting to know!

Despite all the hype recent hype about smartphone cameras matching the quality of classic photo cameras, the GF1 still beats the new iPhone in most aspects! You can’t cheat physics :)
