FotoHansKeuzeKamp just got their Stock of GM5 and 35-100mm cameras and lenses. And to show you the advantage of the new MFT zoom he compared it with the size of the 70-200mm L Canon. of course the Canon L is designed to cover a much larger FF sensor. But if you do not care about that it’s pretty clear than it’s quite handy to have a 70-200mm equivalent zoom you can fit in your pocket!!!

Julien: “A short video made for testing the best way of expose shots with the GH3. Also a good opportunity to show some grading with FilmConvert. https://vimeo.com/105647351“
Karen: “Amateur Photographer magazine shoots its latest cover on 4K video, using a Panasonic GH4 DSLR, putting to the test whether this format is truly the future for photographers. Amateur Photographer, the world’s oldest weekly photography magazine, have asked the question ‘Could 4K video replace traditional photography?’ and put this to the test by shooting their 20th September 2014 cover with a Panasonic GH4 DSLR. This is the first photographic magazine cover of its kind ever to be published, and it trials a feature in which they test 4K video’s capabilities in a variety of scenarios, from studio portraits tooutdoor wildlife. Amateur Photographer’s Editor Nigel Atherton said, ‘Many AP readers are ambivalent about video, so the idea of 4K video modes being the next big thing to appear on DSLRs and CSCs is probably less than thrilling, but this week we show why you should think again.’ More info can be found here:

or watch it on Youtube (http://youtu.be/TGmNJo8_gSk). The results are somewhat surprising. Regards,

Olympus Japan announced the Stylus 1s. There are only very minor improvements over the 1s like a the step up function zoom function. The camera will ship from mid November in Japan. Not sere if this is going to be sold outside Japan too.

Personal View spotted one more “thing” unveiled at Photokina. It’s the Aputure Canon EF to MFT adapter with electronic aperture control. There is no detail about price and availability yet. What has been displayed at Photokina was just a pre-production model but it was fully functional.

Leopold: “Here is a music video i shot with my GH4! It´s my first one with this camera and my second one with singer/songwriter Georg Neureiter. I´m pretty impressed by the flexibility of this little camera and i really liked shooting outdoor handheld only with available light within just a few hours. Settings are written in the video explanation. Hope you like it!

Mark: “I did a quick video about adapting the Fujian 35mm CCTV lens to Micro 4/3. I kept recommending the lens to friends and the love it, so it made sense to recommend it to everyone. Such a good addition to a camera bag, for $30. http://youtu.be/Y_XNijmhZ4E“
