Meyer Optik Görlitz has announced the plan to make the Trioplan f/2,8/100mm for mFT. It will be a full manual lens and ship in October (Source: meyer-optik-goerlitz).

If you hoped that unlike 2014 the new year 2015 would stop the dropping system camera sales you were wrong. As you can see from that chart published by Personal View both DSLR and Mirrorless sales dropped in January 2015. The data is based on Japanese company shipment numbers (Source CIPA).

As some of you already know Olympus announced a second camera along the E-M5II. It’s the AIR A01 Micro Four Thirds mount “Lens-camera”. It’s going to be sold in Japan only. Olympus Japan just announced the pricing and shipment date (March 25):

The Four Thirds Group Matching Simulator page (Click here) just added the new and yet still not released Olympus 7-14mm f/2.8 PRO MFT lens. The lens is scheduled to be released this summer and price is yet unclear.
