Via facebook Lensbaby announced that it will show a new lens on April 7. This is likely going to be a 55mm f/1.6 lens. It’s yet not clear if there will be a Micro Four Third mount version of the lens. I think they will ship a Canon mount version first and a MFT mount version later just like it happened with the 58mm f/3.5 fisheye lens.

Voigtlander UK announced that it will accept preorders by end of this month and the lens will cost £999. There is yet no final pricing info in Euro/Dollars. It’s also not clear when the lens will actually ship.

Iridient Developer now added full RAW support for the E-M5Ii High Resolution mode:

• Now supports the full 64 megapixel output for high resolution mode ORF images from the Olympus E-M5 Mark II. Previously high resolution mode RAW images were automatically downsized images to match the 40 megapixel output used by the camera for its JPEG conversions.
