Olympus Japan announced that it will resume the E-M10II sales in November. Those of you who already bought the camera with the lens lock pin issue can send it in for repair.

A new Olympus patent spotted by Egami describs an algorithm capable of removing de Haze from your pictures. Don’t know if many of you will find this useful but Olympus seems to work hard on this and we may get that on future cameras!

New features on the E-M1 firmware 4.0

By end of November Olympus will release the new E-M1 and E-M5II firmware upgrade (full details here). And Olympus just posted these two videos to introduce you to the new firmware features:
