Tony Northrup tells us what has to be done to keep the camera market alive
Tony Northrup tells in this video what he thinks camera manufacturers should do to actually have a future in this shrinking market. I agree with Tony on almost all points!

DJI announced the new Inspire 2 Quadcopter (specs and preorder here) and Zenmuse X5s (specs and preorder here). And it’s a sort of flying GH5 as it records 5.2K and 4K 60FPS! TheVerge reports:
DJI has designed a new image processing system for the Inspire 2 meant to satisfy professional filmmakers. They call it CineCore 2.0, and it can capture 5.2K video at a whopping 4.2Gbps bitrate. To handle all that data, the Inspire 2 has added an onboard SSD. You can buy this drone with the new Zenmuse X4S or X5S camera. The latter feature a micro 4/3 sensor and supports 10 different lenses, including zooms. And the system supports video compression formats that matter to pros, like CinemaDNG and Apple ProRes. For photographers there is a DNG RAW mode that captures 30-megapixel still images. And it can stream video in broadcast-quality formats for local news crews who want live aerial video from the scene of an unfolding event.

Thanks B2!

Panasonic issued a new firmware update for the GH4 and G80 (or G85 or G81). You can download it here: av.jpn.support.panasonic.com
The G80 update (version 1.1) fixes that bug:
Improved image stabilizer performance during the motion picture recording.
The GH4 update (version 2.6) fixes those bugs:
– When the camera is used with the Battery Grip, an error message pops up if the remaining power of the battery in the Battery Grip is low.– With a use of [shoplink 63144 ebay]Panasonic H-RS100400(LEICA DG VARIO-ELMAR 100-400mm / F4.0-6.3 ASPH. / POWER O.I.S.[/shoplink]) or some Olympus interchangeable lenses, the monitor blacks out when the user tries consecutive shooting in manual mode in AFC setting.
