a bit of everything…

Shot in 1080/60p with the Panasonic 12-35, 35-100 and 42.5mm f/1.2. Used a small GorillaPod for the tele lens. The official event photographer with a large Canon anchor around his neck was not impressed by the sight of my setup, claiming rather condescendingly “that’s not video”.

Olympus Japan announced the latest three new members of the MFT alliance

INNYA Co., Ltd. (entaniya.co.jp)
Agrowing LTD (agrowing.com),
Qtechnology Inc. (qtec.com)

Entaniya is actually known for that huge Fisheye MFT lens which is available in three different versions on Amazon:
Entaniya 3.0mm f/2.8 250° (Click here).
Entaniya 2.6mm f/4.0 250° (Click here).
Entaniya 2.3mm f/2.8 250° (Click here).

This is the kind of look you can “create” with that lens. More images can be seen on Flickr.

Something else: Olympus OM lenses can be used on the new Fuji GFX

I am abit surprised to learn this: Fotodiox is now offering a new [shoplink 64779 ebay]Olympus Zuiko OM[/shoplink] to Fuji GFX adapter. I didn’t know these lenses could cover a larger 44x31mm sensor area. Fotodiox writes:

“Many lenses (particularly 85mm lenses and longer, most 50mm lenses and all tilt/shift lenses) produce image circles large enough to cover larger medium format sensors (though their performance will only have been optimized for their native formats).”

Olympus Zuiko OM lenses can be found in used condition on [shoplink 64779 ebay]eBay (Click here)[/shoplink].
