The last couple of weeksthere have been a lot of discussions about the GH5 autofocus performance. TodayPhotoJoseph got an official statement from Panasonic:

“We recommend to select 1-area AF in 30p or 60p frame rate for more comfortable Auto Focus speed. When you select 24p, 1-area AF is recommended.
If you are still experiencing slower than desired AF, Panasonic suggests to override AF by pressing the shutter button halfway down.
Panasonic pledges to further improve the AF quality.”

GH5 Facebook group member Victor Bart spotted a curious fact: World famous Youtuber Casey Neistat is using Panasonic GH5. You can see the camera in the reflection of his Sunnglasses. This will be a disappointing news for Sony as they kept praising the fact he is using Sony camera gear for his videos (Source: Alphauniverse)
