James:I’ve started working on a series of videos that cover how to practically shoot and achieve esoteric photographic techniques – burst stacking for long exposure simulation, light painting, astrophotography, portrait panoramas, stacking for noise reduction, and more. I’ve just released the first two videos: Long Exposure Water and Burst Stacking. They can be watched here:
https://youtu.be/3wC6w7iCgcM (Long Exposure Water)
https://youtu.be/Wgy1sj8ywlg (Burst Stacking)
Each video also comes with an article that contains example images and additional tips/tricks – they can be seen at http://www.jamesritson.co.uk/shooting/
For all of the videos I’m using an Olympus E-M1 mk2 plus Olympus lenses (so exclusively micro 4/3 gear). Some of the footage was also shot on a combination of the E-M1 mk2 and Panasonic GH4. The next two videos will be achieving a Big Stopper effect and looking at the use of polarisers.”
