Mark:I have used the Olympus 50-200 SWD lens for half a decade for sports and other professional photography. For the past 3 years on an E-M1 with MMF3 adaptor.I recently had the opportunity to use both the new 40-150 PRO and my usual lens back-to-back during 6 days of shooting at two national sporting events. I was hoping to answer the question: Does the new lens offer huge benefits versus the 50-200 SWD or should I keep my existing lens?
Both are highly capable optics and the answer is not clear cut. I think it depends on several aspects and my thoughts are shared in a blog post which is available here: http://flightlevel42.co.za/40150PROReview.html
