Merry Christmas dear fellowship!

I took this photo three days ago inside the Covid-19 intensive care station in Bolzano (Italy). This men is finally recovering after two weeks of intubation. The doctor is holding his hand while he has the first chat with him.

This is a small story of hope that may be a good omen for the year to come. I wish you all Merry Christmas and a quick recover from this very hard year!

Unlikely but still interesting: Canon now selling their sensor to third parties

As we all know Olympus (now JIP) and Panasonic completely depend from Sony sensors for their MFT cameras. This somehow limits the possibilities of the entire system and any future camera development depends from Sony’s plans. It might be interesting to note that third party companies can now buy some of the Canon sensors. I think it’s unlikely Canon will make MFT sensors…but it surely would be nice if one day they decide to do so!
