Nikkei analyzed the current situation of the Lumix business. Panasonic shares on the Japanese market dropped down to 8%. Nikkei believes that the smaller MFT sensor format may be the limiting factor here. And Panasonic should focus on video centric cameras because in that segment the MFTs ensor size actually makes a lot of sense.

Still, I am surprise ot see OM Digital still holding well and being nearly on par with the big Sony-Canon companies!

• When using LUMIX Tether on Windows OS, Rec Quality setting in Motion Picture cannot be changed. This bug has been fixed.

OM System Japan announced that the Olympus Plaza Tokyo will change its name to “OM System Plaza”. The change will occur on February 3rd.

• Year (22) Month (2) Day (6): 6th of February?
• or just Year (22) Month (2) and camera generation GH(6): Annuncement at CP+ in late February.
