Panasonic officially released the new G9II firmware update:

1. Compatibility with LUMIX smartphone app “LUMIX Lab”
   – “LUMIX Lab” now compatible with this model.
2. Support for the Panasonic XLR microphone adaptor DMW-XLR2
   – DMW-XLR2 has now been supported.

   * 32-bit float audio recording is not available with this model.
3. 5GHz option added to [Wi-Fi Frequency Bands]
   – [5GHz] option added to [Wi-Fi Frequency Bands] and can be chosen between [2.4GHz].

   * Depending on the region, local regulations, etc. may prohibit you from using the 5GHz frequency band outdoors. If this is the case, when outdoors, connect to the smartphone using [2.4GHz] for the Wi-Fi connection.
4. Other improvements
   – [REAL TIME LUT] function can be assigned to Fn button.
   – Improved operational stability.
