HOT deal! Panasonic GF1+20mm lens for $599! (E-5 in Stock)

Click here: Panasonic GF1 with 20mm f/1.7 Lens for $599 at Amazon

Last time we had this deal it was from a third-party reseller. But now it’s Amazon itself that dropped the price! For those of you that don’t like the new GF2 (or can’t wait until late January) that’s a big chance to get that awesome camera for cheap!

The Panasonic GF1 with 14-45mm Lens kit is for sale at $679.95 on Amazon

One more thing:
The Olympus E-5 is finally in Stock at Amazon (Click here)

Panasonic 14mm lens in Stock in Europe and on eBay!

Finally non-japanese stores do have some of the new Panasonic stuff in Stock :)
Amazon Deutschland has the new Panasonic 14mm lens in Stock right now!. And so Amazon UK.
That leads us to hope that also Amazon US, Adorama and BHphoto will have it in Stock soon!

I don’t advice you to buy the japanese GH2 (which are currently in auction on eBay) because you have to deal with the japanese menu. But you don’t have that problem when you buy a lens! Japanese resellers are currently selling some of these lenses on eBay (Click here).

P.S: ThePublicEye posted a few Panasonic 14mm image samples.

Get the “japanese” Panasonic GH2 on eBay (shipping worlwide)

The first two Panasonic GH2 cameras are for sale on eBay! They are located in Japan so you have to deal with the japanese menu :( The good news is that we have two different GH2 cameras:
Click here to see the current Panasonic GH2 (Body Only!) auction Click here to see the current Panasonic GH2+14-140mm lens auction

Let me know if you find the GH2 somewhere in Stock! Thanks!!!

The need for EXTREME speed: Rodenstock 50mm f/0.75 in m43 mount!

The eBay reseller “jieying-usa” is reworking lenses so that they can fit on Micro Four Thirds cameras without the need of any adapter! And the Rodenstock 50mm f/0.75 is one of those lenses with m43 mount (Click here to check the acution on eBay). The lens focuses from 3ft to infinity. Wide open, images are very soft but unlike C-mount lenses the circle covers the full m43 size. You can see a few image samples on Flickr. The same reseller also makes the Kowa 55mm f/1.0 with m43 mount.

P.S.: A question to our readers. How many stops difference do you have between f/.075 and the f/0.95 from the Voigtländer?

(UPDATED) Three Voigtländer 25mm f/0.95 lenses at Bayern-fotoversand (+ CNET test)

I make no secret here. I am a big fan of that lens and I noticed that it is very very difficoult to find it in Stock somewhere. My sources told me the lens has been sold out at least until early 2011! Bayern Fotoversand is now selling three of them on eBay (Click here). They ship to Europe only but if you are located outside Europe feel free to contact them. They may will make an exception for you!

CNET Asia posted a Hands-on with the Cosina Voigtlander Nokton 25mm F0.95 + image samples on Flickr.

If you need autofocus you might want to wait until Panasonic announced the 25mm f/1.4 Micro Four Thirds lens (To not confuse with the Panasonic/Leica 25mm lens for Four Thirds)

UPDATE: Link corrected. Sorry!

(DEAL DEAD) E-P2 with lens and EVF for $799. PEN + Lensbaby deal on Amazon (-$100)

The weeks before the GF2 announcement we saw some nice GF1 deal. Now our sources are suggesting us that the E-P2 is the next camera to be replaced. Maybe that’s why we see that huge price drop on Amazon: E-P2+14-42mm lens + external EVF for $799 (Click here to visit the product page). According to our sources the E-P3 could be announced in 2-3 months. But you can never know…

And there is one more special deal. You can save up to $100 in a combined purchase of an Olympus PEN camera and select Lensbaby products (Click here to read the terms of the deal)
