Last week Panasonic stated that the new Full Frame S line is meant for those Micro Four Thirds user that also need Full Frame for a variety of reasons. So here is my question:

There will be no Photokina event in 2019

Yesterda the Photokina organization issued that Press release to announce the cancelation of their May 2019 event. The official reason is simple: The event would have taken place just 7 months after the September 2018 event. Still, in my opinion this is a sign that the market has become small and volatile.

(FT5) E-M1X has twice the speed of the E-M1II

Just a small new tidbits about the E-M1X:

  1. The camera has 2x the processing speed of the current E-M1II
  2. To be clear: The E-M1X is NOT the E-M1II successor

Autofocus: Adaptive and expandable focal points. Two examples. If you are shooting a person, then shift to shooting a car, the number of focal points will automatically expand. If you are shooting a basketball player, you will get a vertical series of 5 focal points.
Body Size: 144.37 x 146.765 x 75.345mm (body with a built in vertical grip)
High Res: Can shoot handheld High Resolution images (around 80MP) at 1/60s
Photography focus: Sports and Wildlife shooters
Same batteries as E-M1 Mk II
Larger EVF
