What’s coming the next months before Photokina: Just compact cameras and one MFT (Olympus E-PL7).

The rumors I got so far from trusted sources do not point to any more MFT camera announcement before Photokina other than the Olympus E-Pl7. It really looks like both Panasonic and Olympus are focusing their attention at Photokina in September.

That said I heard that both companies will announce some compact cameras within the next 1-2 months. Don’t know if that includes the rumored Olympus “TRIP-D“. It should be a digital fixed lens version of their popular [shoplink 35471 ebay]Olympus Trip 35 film cameras (on auction here on eBay)[/shoplink]. That would certainly be a hot camera release!
