Still There
5 months ago |The bad news is that there are only a limited number of GH3 cameras available for sale at Adorama.
The good news is that those cameras will be available for a long, long time.
Sensor “as good as” the e-m5′s, a full development year later, and a significantly bigger size than the GH2, for no apparent good reason.

4 months ago |The nice thing about the grip is you can take it off and get a tiny camera when using a small lens.
With the GH3 you have a nice big camera but you spend the same cash as buying an OMD with grip, and still you nave to by a grip for the GH3 if you want vertical shutter button or more battery power.
The ergonomics and dials may well be better for some. Having a small camera that takes a grip for when a user needs a bigger camera may be better for some.

Well, not really, plus the ergonomics are MUCH better than the E-M5.
Get over it.

4 months ago |Hey, thanks for pointing that out.
The EM5 with grip is the same size as the GH3. I thought it was larger than that.
So my reasoning stands, getter ergonomics, buy the GH3. Desire for a less expensive camera that is smaller than the GH3 while compromising ergonomics, get the EM5.
If you want a camera that is smaller or larger with worse ergonomics for the same price, get the EM5 with grip.
If you want a camera that is much more expensive that has good ergonomics and can become smaller, get the GH3 with grip.
Thanks for the encouragement, I’m over it now.

5 months ago |Congratulations Panny fans! You get to pay $300 extra for video features… on a camera that’s DEVOID of IBIS & small footprint! Make sure to bring along your tripod when you use your PRIME LENSES for flix.
Oh yes, you get extra defective issues with your bundle.
I myself am looking forward to purchase the GH3… as a bargain/discontinued discount this winter.

4 months ago |So basically, you hate it because you can’t afford it? Sad.
Obviously, Panasonic didn’t want a tiny footprint. They’re trying to lure buyers who might be thinking of a Nikon D7000 or something similar, and the bigger size and grip make for better handling with heavier zooms like the 12-35 and 35-100.
As for the “extra defective issues with your bundle”… sorry, what does that mean?

4 months ago |It’s a good camera, no doubt, and gives many improvements over its predecessor. However, its vastly overpriced compared to both the GH2 and other cameras in its class. Just wait a year and allow the supply to surpass its demand. By then the price should settle to something reasonable.
