2 years ago |Clearance sale? Emptying the stock before the announcement of the new models?
Remember that the 14-150 zoom lens is going to go on sale in June and there might be a m43 body to accompany it. Such lenses ( wide to tele zooms, primes ) are rarely presented by themselves, Panasonic had 14-140 coupled with GH1. I expect Olympus to present a higher-spec camera (E-460?) in June with 14-150 as a kit lens.
Likewise, I think the new rumored Oly pancake lens will be coupled with a compact model later this year.

2 years ago |No, these are never clearance sales.
Rather it’s the seasonal sales incentive programs.
Additionally, it’s a matching of competitors seasonal price adjustments.
Furthermore, it seems that last years introduction of EVIL cameras and their sales success has driven the prices of traditional DSLR entry models further down.
While the lens portfolio for m4/3 still is small, it’s good to see that the promotion campaign also cover this area with the most natural choice, the 17mm f/2.8 pancake.

2 years ago |The 14-35mm f2.0 actually costs $1516.95 after the rebate if you go through B&H which they normally sell it at $1816.95

2 years ago |Just FYI, B&H is selling the 50-200 SWD for $767.97, which is a great price for an awesome chunk of glass. They’re currently closed for Passover, but will reopen this Wednesday.
