Black E-M5 is the most sold (says Olympus France) And new set of refurbished E-M5 cameras in Europe…

Interview:
Olympus France stated in an interview with Lepidi (translation here) that the black version sells more than the Silver. And most buyers are SLR owners and many of them are Journalists.
E-M5 in Europe:
For the third time Olympus launched an E-M5 rebate action while Europeans have to rely on local hard to find deals. For some mysterious reason the chepaest E-M5 you can find in Euro currency is in France (864 for body at Amazon), and in Italy (on eBay via Slidoo). And after a very long time plenty of refurbished E-M5 cameras are sold at Olympusmarket on eBay (Click here). To get notified in future about the new European refurbished E-M5 auctions login at Slidoo and save this search.

Amazon UK = €1207
Amazon DE = €1091
Amazon FR = €899
Amazon ES = €899
Amazon IT = €865
Whilst there are minor variations in tax/duty rates, this is nonsense

5 months ago |Yeah right, and that has nothing to do with the fact that the silver one is available in very very short supply, has been available in most countries 3 months later than the black one (unless you preordered it and your preorder was honored, I had mine preordered in silver, cancelled by the supplier because Olympus wouldn’t send them silver E-M5 and had no timeframe for their deliveries, subsequently purchased a black one, happened to most french early E-M5 adopters I know) or that there is a price difference between €100 and €300 depending on the supplier and timeframe.

5 months ago |But all the good lenses are only in silver or in some cases you need to pay extra for black. Olympus manipulates all this to squeeze extra money from everyone. They know most owners want black and most owners have black bodies.
Es
5 months ago |This is of course a disgusting business practice, but those lenses keep on selling. So why not?
