As incorrect as the Canon ads with Jackie Chan, displaying him as well in an awkward position in relation to the viewfinder, suggesting, the model has a third eye in some place, that relates better to the advertisement’s necessity, to show a more beautiful facial expression of the model with a cool looking left eye.
Maybe they took the images with a FF camera and because the DOF is so low they had to have the models hold the cameras all together too close in order for everything to be in focus?

I’m sorry to disagree with almost every other person who left a comment here, but I think both of these ads are stunning… they convey a sense of romance, sophistication and old school glamour. I’ve never really considered buying a “serious” camera before, but now I’m pretty sure I’m getting one of these beauties because of the classy ads.
