3 years ago |Did we ever get confirmation that this H & B shop ever shipped the 14mm F2.5 lenses that advertised a couple of weeks ago?
I think what they are doing is buying them from Canadian stores and then selling them here. I doubt they actually have the lenses in their hands.

3 years ago |I’m curious how that would work… I’d think there would be little incentive for the Canadian stores to sell them to H&B for much less than US retail at this point.
(I just ordered one using the link, so I’d like to believe they’re legit.
Their derivative name sounds suspicious of course, but I’ve never had any problems with Amazon 3rd-parties before.)

I bet yours has a Canadian serial number though. I wonder if the Panasonic warranty is valid on it?
After the first few 14mm lenses sold from H & B they raised the price above MSRP. That is how they were making money.

3 years ago |At the end of October I placed an order for the lens from Amazon itself as a Pre order.
This morning Amazon listed the lens as available on the 8th tomorrow, instead of the estimated availability of after Christmas.
My experience it that there is a day delay between the larger dedicated Camera Stores and a direct order from Amazon.
If experience prevails, I should be notified of the shipment of the lens from my preorder tomorrow. (I hope).

Also my order from amazon says it will not arrive till after christmas.
I am questioning my assumption that amazon direct will sell in a couple of days.

3 years ago |My FedEx tracking info says the lens from H&B should be delivered to me this Thursday, December 9th. Are you able to cancel your previous order from Amazon themselves?

Amazon is now shipping my order, so again Amazon direct ships a day or two after the larger camera stores in the US
