GH3 minute movies! Also marked as best Mirrorless camera at Popphoto.

Panasonic (Click here) launched the new GH3 minute movies campaign: “Panasonic is providing RFP with 3 x DMC-GH3 cameras and an array of lenses for them to produce 3 x 3 minute films. Aptly named ‘GH3-Minute Movies’, this campaign will showcase the GH3’s professional videography capabilities in a real setting.” More about the 2 filmmakers here: Lumixgexperience.
Shiv: “I just received the latest issue of Popular Photography (www.popphoto.com) and the review the DMC-GH3 with a question on the front “Best ILC ever?” and gave it an excellent review.“. News also on SmallCameraBigPicture.
GH3 price and in Stock status check: Amazon, Adorama, B&H, J&R, eBay.

3 months ago |a perfect example of the Olympus bias of the users of this site. 1.sensible post , 1. spelling correction and 1. question. If this was about the EM5 it would have had dozens of sycophantically tedious “we love” posts from the Olympus faithful it would be a happy day if I could find a forum with no Olympus users

3 months ago |And it would have a gazillion complains from a small group of people about how it is too small, lacks 24p video and so on. Now, some of those complaints are also valid, but often they are just used to promote alternatives (GH2/3 often). Wrong? no, but it does suggest that ‘Panasonic users’ tend to mostly comment on Olympus related news or rumors.
It gets even worse when Olympus announces a lens, tons of complaints from Panasonic users about how it lacks OIS and hence is unusable for them (while in other threads claiming that image stabilization is highly overrated and ibis is just a gimmick).
So.. it really seems more a case of Panasonic users not having to say much about Panasonic equipment, but complaining a lot about non-Panasonic equipment and users.
Btw, I think its all pretty silly. I’ve been using a G2 for quite some time (still have it), and a whole bunch of Panasonic lenses (14, 20, 25mm primes especially). I’ve also been using Olympus cameras and lenses (E-P1, E-M5, 17, 45 and 75mm primes), and its actually being able to mix and match between the products from both that makes m4/3 such a nice system.
