2 years ago |agreed. it’s cool having different populations as part of the market, but with all the “photo girl” impression of PEN that the Japanese are trying to make, it’ll make hardcore DSLR folks wonder whether it’s an enthusiast camera or just a toy.
that being said, I always enjoy when people underestimate the IQ of PEN only to be surprised later how the pictures beat theirs from a D7000 or 550D!

2 years ago |Kevin, as opposed to say Aston Kutcher hawking Nikons? Man, I find those commercials annoying. I know if I were looking for other brands, those might influence me against Nikon.
However, in terms of Nikon, Canon and Nikon seem to trade the top spot in terms SLR/DSLR every ten years or so, and Nikon is currently in the ascendancy stage, with Canon starting to lose domination.
