(FT4) Panasonic LX5 to be announced on July 21 (and keep an eye on the new sensor!) + new FX700 leak
Panasonic will launch new compact cameras on July 21. The most advanced compact camera will be the Panasonic LX5.
For those of you interested in FourThirds and MicroFourThirds only: Panasonic made a very advanced new sensor for the LX5. It is very likely that some of those new features will be inside the new FourThirds sensor.

Lets hope the new sensor is something really great and better in performance compared to competition (maybe backlit?). Or there will be no point in buying it.

2 years ago |well! Panasonic finally revealed LX5! I’m now waiting for the camera to be offically released. It’s being a pleasure for person like me……… because I would have bought lx3 if 43rumors didn’t told me real-time rumors!
I’m trying to guess what it would look like^^ It should be fantastic!

2 years ago |So it seems that panasonic releases the successors of its important cameras exactly one or two years after the release of the previous model.
For the LX series replacement time is 1-2 years, for the GF is 1 year and the TZ/ZS again 1 year.
Cant wait for the first review of the lx5 and comparisons with s90 and LX3!
