    The link for the GF5 is for the old manual zoom at $399 from what I see. No big deal. there are better deals coming

    It seems most of the U.S. deals posted here are to open box/demo or gray market/un-authorized sellers. Since Olympus requires a copy of a dated sales receipt for warranty service, it doesn’t seem like much of a deal when you factor in previous use and risk of no warranty.

    If you waited this long for an E-M5, then you might as well wait until the new one come out, or at least after April with all the announcements. I’m pretty sure, like with all tech, when newer versions come out, the older version will get a clearance price. Time is your friend. =P

    you get the distinct feeling that after APR prices should tumble in the favour of the buyers. With both OLY and PAN discounting prior to new announcements, the formula follows, better prices ahead once new tech is deemed to better the products that are so ‘old’, and so yesterday, now … can’t wait, new hype = deals on tested, functional gear.
