2 years ago |IMPO you can only really compare two cameras if you use the same lenses on both bodies. This test is really kinda…..Uhhhhhmmmmm…. useless?….. Zeiss primes vs FD Lenses. Am I missing any kind of epiphany here?

2 years ago |I reckon that you are correct in what you say, as all types of lens have different characteristics and native resolution and so on.

20mm pancake has stabilization with Olympus.
With panasonic it does not.
Also the CA correction might work differently in both cameras.

And it does in some aspects indeed!

2 years ago |yeah, but all this comparisons with GH2 vs Nikon7000/5100,Canon60D/600D,AF-100 video start to be annoying. This camera is great for a other reasons to!
-great AE Brecketing up to 7 frames! Nikon D7000 and Canon 60D only 3!(best camera for HDR images, if u need it for light maps rendering in 3D is awesome)
-great light reading with old manual lenses
-with a variable aspect ratio sensor and free angle lcd is a blast for macro.
to be an almost pocket-able camera is amazing.

2 years ago |MannyB is correct, can not compare this way the 2 cameras, using different lenses. But on the other hand, on GH2 had a decent set of glasses, so the camera shows a great video quality, getting really close to the AF-100.
The only advantage of the AF-100 over GH2 i noticed is that on some part of the video comparison the colors of the GH2 is a little harsh compered to AF-100.
Anyway, here is compered a gear of 1000$ with low cost glasses with top of the line video equipment!
GH2 really rocks, best u can buy for this price, amazing camera indid!
