Panasonic GH-3, Panny 12-35 2.8 @ 7.1, 3.2 seconds ISO 200.
This image was captured at the north end of Rodeo Beach in California. The Marin County Headlands made an indelible impression when I first visited as an 11 year old on a sixth grade school trip. The black sand beach, the rolling hills and the old gun emplacements caused my imagination to run wild. Despite hundreds of trips to the bay area over the years I never visited again. It was everything I remembered and more. It will be a priority to visit again on my next trip out.
