Panasonic getting closer to the S launch: Their 70-200mm lens has f/2.8 aperture, 77mm filter thread and 0,92m close focus

As I reported on L-rumors.com Panasonic will soon unveil the full specs of their S1-S1R cameras. They will also disclose their S lens specs. There is a new protoype of the 70-200mm lens photographed by Digitalcameraworld:

From its size and 77mm front filter thread, it look almost certainly to be a 70-200mm f/2.8. You can also clearly see that the closest focusing distance of the lens is 0.92m (3.02 ft).

I don’t think Panasonic will unveil anything Micro Four Thirds related :(
