(FT5) Olympus E-M5II name gets officially registered in Taiwan!



Digicameinfo spotted that Olympus officially registered the name of the new E-M5II camera at Taiwan’s site. This means our rumors are 100% correct as we reported the name of the camera weeks ago along some crucial info like:

same 16 MP E-M5 sensor
sensor shift shooting mode to create up to 40MP on the fly with up to 8 images combined
no 4K recording (but improved video quality over the E-M5)
announcement first week of February

One more thing: There will be one more Olympus camera announced before CP+. Likely a fixed lens one.
