PRESS RELEASE

RANGEFINDER1

NEW: THE SLR Magic HyperPrime CINE 50mm T0.95 and SLR
MAGIC-RANGEFINDER CINE Adapter

SLR Magic expands its micro four thirds lineup with new standard lens

Hong Kong, China (June 3, 2015) – SLR Magic expands the micro four
thirds lens lineup with the new SLR Magic HyperPrime CINE 50mm T0.95
standard lens. The product will be officially introduced during
upcoming Cine Gear Expo 2015 in Los Angeles.

The field of view of this new HyperPrime Lens corresponds to a 100mm
lens in 35mm format and this fast wide angle of view opens up many new
creative composition opportunities, particularly in the fields of
documentary cinematography and portrait photography. Additionally, a
fast max aperture of T0.95 makes the SLR Magic HyperPrime CINE 50mm
T0.95 ideal for available-light photography.

We place our highest priority in the development on our lenses to
fulfill the demands of professional cinematographers and
photographers. The design and build of the SLR Magic HyperPrime CINE
50mm T0.95 is solid and reliable.

The SLR MAGIC-RANGEFINDER CINE Adapter is an optical device with
integrated follow focus gears. When adapted to a compatible taking
lens, one could override the focus control of the taking lens with the
RANGEFINDER’s built-in focus ring that provides calibrated focus
markings from 3’6 ft to Infinity.

The SLR MAGIC-RANGEFINDER CINE Adapter is highly recommended for users
wanting to have single focus capability on the SLR Magic Anamorphot
adapters as well as users wanting to have cinema like manual focus
capabilities on autofocus lenses.
The SLR Magic HyperPrime CINE 50mm T0.95 (MSRP: $999 US) and SLR
MAGIC-RANGEFINDER CINE Adapter (MSRP: $599 US) will be available from
authorized SLR Magic dealers by end of Q3 2015.

The SLR Magic HyperPrime CINE 50mm T0.95 (Pre-production) and SLR
MAGIC-RANGEFINDER CINE (Prototype) will be first presented at Cine
Gear Expo 2015 in Los Angeles. The new SLR Magic demos would be
available for viewing at Atomos Booth (No. S122, Stage 14), Convergent
Design Booth (No. S318, Stage 32), and Panasonic Booth (No. S221,
Stage 31), during the fair which are to be held in Los Angeles from
5th to 6th of June 2015. For all those who want to visit the Cine Gear
Expo 2015.

SLR Magic is currently looking for volunteers to test the SLR
MAGIC-RANGEFINDER CINE at a special price. If interested:
