Panasonic is going to need to get the price down more to compete with the pocket cam.

These puppies would sell more if a hack existed, similar to the GH2 hack.

    • true homer

But why? The gh3 already has hack bit rates

  • Wen

  • dau

Any word on a hack for the gh3? Im sure someone is working on it..

    • tbunny

It already comes with a high bit rate codec. A hack might give you a higher bit rate but the image improvement would be small at best. Probably very small to basically imperceptible.

  • Kabe

Well, the price drop certainly isn’t massive. However, doing this for a brand new cam might point to an overestimated demand for the new model. Bulk is not necessarily a feature for the mobile generation.

  • My next camera must have a global shutter.
