Capio Studio (video on top): “Winter Tread is a proof of concept by Capion Studio for a future short film revolving around the New England area. This piece serves as a mood and style guide to some of the artistic choices of shooting the particular story. The narrative piece will explore thematic notions of the dream world and the subconscious psyche. It is our plan to be able to utilize aerial photography to capture the scope and depth of lucid dreaming. For Winter Tread, we focused on winter as a less literal element, inferring the season as a state of being, or a hardship leading to brighter days. This element (literally and figuratively) will play a significant part in the character’s psyche, branching out with strong visual effects.”
