Chris Goodey‎
I thought I’d share a picture of an Aurora Australis (southern version of the Aurora Borealis) taken @ Primrose Sands in Tasmania, Australia. It is a 3 shot pano taken with a Panasonic G6 + Olympus 17mm F1.8 lens @ F2 2500 ISO 10 seconds. It was an epic Aurora to capture – when this photo was taken the whole horizon lit up!
I never intended to chase Aurora’s with this camera when I purchased it (it is supposed to be a just a general purpose camera), and now that I’ve started chasing Aurora’s I’m considering a move to an Olympus EM5-II to improve the image quality however I’m not sure how much improvement I’d see.
