This year Central California has been inundated with snow. I’ve been fortunate to have the time to enjoy being the mountains. We got up to the Mammoth region around sunset. I thought I might be able to get a nice sky for some lake shots. The color stayed very blue but I did manage work work out this composition. Convict Lake, April, 2017. GH-3, Panasonic 12-35 2.8, B&W Circular Polarizer, at F/ 5.6 0.4 sec ISO 200

Day2: Overcast & steady rain. I had to use my own drool bib but the Get Olympus team offered me a bag w/ 3x #ZuikoPro lenses inside to field test. :o (12-100, 25, 300)
We headed out Spit Road near the Estuary Chelem Trail in Squamish to chase birds w/ our guide. The already legendary M.Zuiko Pro 300mm f/4 was the first to get a workout & shower.
Lightning fast AF let me catch this immature bald eagle as it made its only pass. Dual IS gave me up to 6.5 stops of handheld stabilization on the #OMD EM1.MarkII. After a few shots, I was in love w/ this combo! #m43 43rumors #GetMased
