US Panasonic GH2 in Stock status. Adorama taking preorders of the Voigtländer lens
Last week Amazon US, Adorama and BHphoto had a few Silver Panasonic GH2 cameras in Stock. Now I have been told by a few of our readers that Adorama shipped the first black GH2 cameras (but you can’t find them in Stock right now). One more thing: I just saw some GH2 cameras in auction on eBay (sold by US dealers!). As usual comment this post to help others to find the GH2 in Stock…Thanks!
Finally Adorama is accepting preorders of the new Voigtländer 25mm f/0.95 Micro Four Thirds lens (Click here): “New item not available yet, Delivery scheduled to start mid December . You can place this on order and it will be shipped on a first come first served basis. We do not charge your card until we actually ship the item to you“.

2 years ago |Amazon finally changed the status on my Sept preorder, it used to be “Delivery between Nov 23 and Dec 24″ now it is “We’ll notify you via e-mail when we have an estimated delivery date for this item.”
Amazon emailed this morning letting me know it would not be here with their usual “delayed item” email.
Oh well, was hoping to get it before the Holiday.

Amazon just sent me another email update and my black GH2 14-42 now has an arrival date of December 23rd! Great news, because I wasn’t expecting it for quite some time after their last email. Check your emails from Amazon people, hopefully they are shipping yours as well!
Just to let everyone know, I preordered the black 14-42 kit on October 2nd.

2 years ago |After my Sept. Amazon GH2 order was automatically canceled I ordered the GH2 from Panasonic Direct on Dec. 14. The page listed the camera in stock and shipping. After a call to Panasonic today (2 hour hold time) I was told the camera isn’t shipping until mid January. So it goes.

2 years ago |My Adorama.com pre-order shipped today. I pre-ordered on 11/22. Funny thing is, I pre-ordered both the 14-42 and 14-140 packages and they were supposed to call me to tell me which package was available first and cancel the other. Yeah, they just sent me both and I paid for both. So I have 2xGH2s for the holidays. Obviously one is going back, just not sure which yet.

Are you going to open up both packages and get your greasy fingers all over the cameras and then return one so the next person can enjoy your used camera with a few shots taken on it and all of the materials scattered about?

2 years ago |I ordered on 12/06 with Adorama and got shipping confirmation yesterday. Black with 14-42mm. I also placed one on Amazon and B&H at the same time, but nothing so I cancelled. They don’t charge your card until it ships anyway, so I placed it wherever I could find. Maybe less folks pre-ordered from Adorama? Excited!
